About this guide

There are plenty of accessibility resources on the web (the very best resource for web masters is Dive Into Accessibility).  There are many accessibility guidelines, and a huge number of different ways you can meet your obligations.
This guide is a very brief and practical guide to getting started in accessibility.  It is based on Jamkit's experience of implementing accessible web sites over many years.  The steps outlined are not exhaustive, but are the easiest ways to make your site practically accessible as quickly as possible.

Because this is a "getting started guide", it is mainly concerned with visual impairment, the most common type of disability which effects web browsing in a significant way.
