Accessibility for Non Profits
Many non profits, especially those whose core service is offering information, reply on their sites to cut on printing, telephone and delivery costs. However, they may also have a legal responsibility under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) to make this information accessible to people with disabilities.
This interview with Jacob Nielsen highlights some of the common accessibility problems with web sites, along with the unique opportunities presented by Non Profit requirements.
Jamkit emphasises accessibility across all our projects. We can also offer accessibility consulting, and accessibility audits of existing sites.
