Jamkit is proud to announce that we have been appointed to develop a website for Lets Get Cooking, a partnership programme led by the School Food Trust.
Lets Get Cooking is a 5 year programme to establish a national network of 5,000 cooking clubs across England, giving children, non-cooking parents and the wider community the skills, confidence and enthusiasm to cook healthy meals from scratch.
Wendy Carter, Communications Manager for Lets Get Cooking said, We need to know what each cooking club is doing but were very aware that club leaders wont have time for form filling. Jamkit have developed a user friendly micro-site for each club, to upload information such as recipes and diary dates as well as a community area for clubs to access resources from food safety advice to shopping lists. The website also works as an online recruitment tool for schools to sign up online, saving a huge amount of administration at our end.
Miles Waller (Director of Jamkit) This is an exciting and innovative project and we are proud to be associated with it. The website will play an important role in showcasing the work of cooking clubs around the country.
